1961 Lambretta Li 150 with Mugello kit in MOORE PARK, New South Wales for sale
Howdy,
For sale is my head-turning vintage 1961 Lambretta Li 150. I have had the scoot a few years and have spent a fair old whack on restoring and upgrading this beaut as the engine was under-powered and many parts needed replacement. There's nothing left to do it on it now and it's in great nick.
General details:
- Registered until end of January 2014
- VIN number is IGM09030M and engine number 150L1953799
- All upgrades and maintenance by Lambretta specialist Sandy at S.S. Scooter engineering - http://scooterengineering.com/
Upgrades:
- Mugello 186 kit (fully run-in, using 3% mix, much better torque than before, pulls well and will easily do over 100KMPH)
- Taffspeed exhaust
- Jetex 22mm carb
- Fast flow fuel tap
- 12 volt conversion (good lights and reliable starting!)
- New crank, seals, gaskets, bearings etc.
- x3 Continental whitewall tyres (plenty of tread left on front and rear and spare has never been used)
- New hubs and rims
- Front mounted spare wheel holder
- Rear rack
- Replaced kickstart
- Replaced eat springs and cover
- Replaced floor runners
- Replaced centre stand
- Replaced Seat springs and covers
- Loads of other trimmings (grips, rubbers, fuel tap lever, petrol lid cover etc.) and other stuff I can't remember
Here's a clip of me starting her up yesterday http://youtu.be/3EqBWhQylPA. Sweet smell of 2-stroke in the air eh.
The paintwork is original so if you are after mint condition paint-wise it would need a respray as there is the odd scuff here and there. I like the look though and decided to keep it that way.
I take it on the odd longer run up or down the coast but mainly just around the city. Probably done a couple of thousand KM since being kitted.
Reason for sale is I have another scooter plus a car and keeping all 3 running gets expensive. The Lammy is the least used and my girlfriend ensures me it's for the best, am still in 2 minds myself!
If you have any queries or want to arrange a viewing (currently stored securely at my work in Paddington) please get in touch. Also, I will be around for the Australia National Scooter (http://www.classicscooterrally.com.au/) in Sydney on October 4th-7th so that might suit anyone over for that who might be interested.
Cheers,
Dan
PS Bobby the cocker spaniel not included, though offers considered.
